    2. Hello All, I don't believe I have ever posted Paul's email address on the Copiah site but I could be wrong. If you can locate it for me please let me know and I will remove it. Paul has never been receptive to having his search requests be handled via email. Actually, I don't know how he wants people to contact him re: research. I have never asked for any of his time. Another note, does anyone know of a 'professional' researcher in Copiah County? I get that question quite often. Bob DANJSN@aol.com 11/20/00 09:17 PM Please respond to MSCOPIAH-L To: MSCOPIAH-L@rootsweb.com cc: Subject: [MSCOPIAH-L] Message from Paul Cartwright I guess we need to be aware that Paul Cartwright, Director of the Copiah-Jefferson Regional Library, would prefer not to receive queries for local library research from our website. His name was mentioned last week as being of possible help in getting the Copiah County Historical Society started. I received the following e-mail from him today. Dear Dan and LHill; If possible please notify Rootsweb Copiah Site to remove my E-Mail. Dear Leslie Hill, I will put your request in my pending file. I don't have time for many research requests due to building projects. I know at one point over 200 queries were listed. I can refer people to paid researchers or can put them into a pending file which may be 3 months old at given points in the fiscal year. Library Directors do not have a lot of free time. Best Regards Paul Cartwright, Director So I guess we should honor his wishes and depend on other resources in regards to information on Copiah County (few though they may be). I had forwarded him some of your e-mails to indicate the interest that people outside the area had with regards to supporting our historical society. I have apologized to him for cluttering his mailbox, but I only wanted him to know the level of interest as well as the favorable comments that had been made about his helpfulness. 3. Hi Bob/Dan, When I was at the Hazelhurst Courthouse Chancellery Annex in Sept, the following person gave me a card saying she was available for research work for a fee. I have not worked with her so can't comment on the quality of her work - BryanH.
