I am traveling from California, and will be in Copiah Co. on Friday to research my GILBERT ancestors. I am looking for resources in Copiah Co to do research on cemetery records. Hi - I am from CA also but one source you should check our before you go is web site "http://www.rootsweb.com/~mscopiah/". It lists many of the cemeteries and there are many! The Court house is in Hazelhurst but I am not sure of the address. When I was there a Mississippi cousin was driving.
