Dan I dont know mr Paul, but shortly after I began to transcribe the 1850 copiah county census, he wrote to me asking if I might share it with him, well since I had not finished, only begun, I explained to him it was going to take a while, never heard from him again. I do know that Shirley Purvis in CS is a DAR member, my application has been finished for a year, but anyway Joyce Carney told me that Shirley might know a little about this or how to start. You might want to talk to her, also my cousin works at the Archives in Jackson, and they are expanding, noticed the library in CS is moving and wont reopen till Jan 2, but there should be a way we can do this. I would not count on any help from Mr Cartwright, for somereason he doesnt respond unless well your note says why, but he should understand, there are many of us out there who want to do many things to pitch in and do what can be done to begin this. We appreciate your help.
