I'm researching the Cupit family as my grandmother was Mittie Lucinda Cupit born in about 1876 in Wesson, Copiah Cty., MS. She's listed in the book, "A History of the Cupit Family" by John Thomas Cupit on page 30. (Some of her data needs a correction, if anyone is interested.) My grandmother, Mittie Lucinda Cupit's grandparents, parents, brothers & sisters, husband & children are as follows: Grandparents Alexander Cupit (b.1820) & Lucinda Wilson Parents Cyrus William Cupit (b. 1844) * Nancy Naoma Porter Cupit Siblings David Alexander, William, Mary Burnsie, Katherine, Rose M., Melissa Ann, & Gabriella "Ella" Husband Robert Augustus Franks (B. May, 1871) Children Lucille, Ruth, Robert, and Mary Franks Mittie and Robert Franks and their children had moved from Wesson by 1910 and were living in Louisiana (Tangipahoa Parish) by then. I have a photo of my grandmother and "Aunt Ella" - from about the late 1950s. Ella married William Hatchell and their children were Clyde, Lola and William Hatchell.
