    2. Hi, again, I only just noticed what I presum is your married name of AINSWORTH. I am not AINSWORTH descended but my father's sister married an AINSWORTH. My aunt's name is Ellen Grace MYRICK and she married Alvy Leon "Pee Wee" AINSWORTH in West Carroll Parish, Louisiana near Oak Grove. Ellen is the daughter of Allie Artimissa PARKER, born: 11 Aug 1892 near Braxton, Simpson Co., MS, and James Martin "Jim" MYRICK, born: 1892 near Magee, Simpson Co., MS. Allie is the daughter of the Spencer PARKER who is the son of the Jeremiah "Jerry" PARKER in the census information. I believe the AINSWORTH family was also, originally, from Simpson County, MS as well. I have information on them in my files. He is on page 97 and is shown as: 1 male 5-10 1 male 10-15 1 male 15-20 1 male 40-50 1 female under 5 1 female 5-10 1 female 10-15 1 female 30-40 Hope this helps. Barbara Ainsworth Montgomery >>

    3. Hi Bellinda, We have discussed the Ainsworth - Myrick - Parker connections before. Ainsworth is my maiden name and my line was in Copiah Co., MS. The Simpson Co., Smith Co., Jones Co., Hinds Co., etc. were all cousins to my line. Alvy Leon Ainsworth was the son of John Wiley Ainsworth and Mary Etta Conn; his grand parents were Hasten Patrick Ainsworth and Lucy Ann Smith; his great grandparents were Emanuel Ainsworth and Mary Smith (until a few weeks ago, I thought that Hasten was the son of Elizabeth Blakeney but the 1870 Smith Co. census proved that was incorrect); 2nd great grandparents were Sampson Jefferson (or Jeffrey) Ainsworth and Anna Jones; 3rd great grandparents were Thomas Ainsworth and Sarah Finch; after this the next several generations are unproven. You might be interested in a book that I was just using on microfiche at the local LDS Family History Center. "William Ruffin Family History" by H. H. Daniel had a number of Myricks in it. I photocopied about 80 pages showing the Ainsworth - Ruffin lines but I remember seeing the name Myrick and wondering if you had seen the book.
