Mr. Mikell, Thank you so much for transcribing and sending us all this information.This is so very interesting.My families are Welch and Coor from around Hazlehurst and Crystal Springs in Copiah County.After the Civil War my gggrandparents, Dempsey Perry and Ann Jemima Coor Welch, left Copiah County and ended up in Texas.And here I sit in West Texas with not much hope of ever visiting Copiah County and so I really appreciate getting to read the old news via computer!Please, keep up the good work.
