If you have never used the county archives, you are really missing a lot. Unfortuantely, many counties don't have the dedicated submitters that is needed. Where I live in Winn Parish, Louisiana, we have a great online archives everyone should take a look at. One submitter has put up over 5000 obits from the old newspapers.
