    1. [MSCOPIAH-L] Thanx
    2. Hello All, I know that this is not directly related to the genealogy subject matter and I'm sorry if I offend anyone. I want to thank all those on this list that have supported the building of the Copiah site (www.rootsweb.com/~mscopiah) by submitting maps, pictures, submitting and responding to queries, cemetery listings, history articles, and the big job of transcribing the census. I, as a researcher and the county coordinator, really appreciate all the hard work and support that I have received from many of you on this list. I believe we have made major progress on the site during the last twelve months and I look forward to 2001 year. I think we will see some additional census files, the beginning of the actual plotting of land owners using the BLM records, and the publication of more cemeteries. Perhaps, we shall see the establishment of a Genealogy/Historical society for Copiah County!!! Thank you and please have a safe and wonderful Holiday. Merry Christmas everyone....

    3. Bob, Let me say a wholehearted thank you for the hard work you've done. This can't have been easy and with so many queries to respond to, it's a wonder you ever got anything done. I particularly appreciate the site, since I've been out of MS for many years and the cemeteries on the site has provided significant input for me to update my family trees for the O'Neal, Parrett(e), Shearer, and Cook branches as well as many cousins. Again, thanks, and may you have a wonderful holiday season and a very prosperous new year!
