I have quite a bit of information for this family. I do not find a Wade Burns, but if you can give me some other names and dates, perhaps we can find a connection. Sally Kelly Etebari

The family is enumerated on the Warren Co., MS Census in 1830, 1840 and 1850. There were several other siblings to Hugh. Does anyone have any information on this family? 3. Lynda, I was in the Copiah Co. Court House about one year ago and found it a little difficult to get those heavy record boxes down. You have to use a pole with a hook (looks like the window openers we used in the old schools), then lift the box down to a table. I did not notice wheel chair accessability, so you will have to write or call and ask. I would take a strong person with me next time. 3. Lynda - Wills and probate stuff is in Hazelhurst Court House Chancellery Annex (ask in main Courthouse forthe court probate records). After you go in the main "Annex" entrance, therecords room is on the right. Don't miss the un-catalogued old personal papers in the "lettered" boxes are all the way tothe left, back, against the wall. In my case for "Hennington" there are 3 "H" boxes; interesting stuff. If you have never used the county archives, you are really missing a lot. Unfortuantely, many counties don't have the dedicated submitters that is needed. Where I live in Winn Parish, Louisiana, we have a great online archives everyone should take a look at. One submitter has put up over 5000 obits from the old newspapers. Almost all the cemeteries have been put online, etc. To access any of these archives go to www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ and follow the directions.
