Ben: This isn't what you are looking for but I noticed a Maggie Sessions that married to Augusta Lea. They had a son named Willie Albert Lea that married Lola Nancy Brumfield 22 July 1950. Willie died in Wesson 4 Sept. 1974 at age of 71. I have nothing else on Sessions than that. The inf., for what it's worth, came from Matthew Rushing Descendants in South Mississippi 1810-1995 by Helen L. Rushing (Jones). Chris My lines in Copiah Co. are Purser, Rushing, Travis, McPhail, Smith, Davis and others I'm probably forgetting at present! ----- Original Message ----- From: Ben Sessions <bensessions@yahoo.com> To: <MSCOPIAH-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, March 19, 2001 10:23 AM Subject: Seeking Katie Johnson Sessions' parents > Hello, I'm a brand new member on this list.My paternal > ancestors were from Copiah County. Hi, I forgot to mention in my earlier post that the half-brother of my Spencer B. PARKER who was a son of Jeremiah "Jerry" PARKER, born: 1795 in Maryland, was a son from what appears to be his 2nd marriage, I believe the only son from that marriage who is in the 1850 Smith Co., MS census and his name was Jacob A. PARKER and he was born in eithe 1834 or 1835 probably either in Copiah Co. or Smith Co., MS and he married Amelia TREASY and they were the parents of George David PARKER, Wiley Hilliard PARKER, who married Ida HYMAN, John William PARKER, who married Sarah Adeline HARPER, Virginia "Jenny" PARKER, who married Bob, prob. Robert, ELLIOTT, and Sarah "Sallie" PARKER, who married Horace HARRELL. This family also married into the LEWIS, ELLZEY, COPELAND, MYRICK, HERRINGTON, HARRINGTON, PIERCE, DICKSON/DICKERSON, etc. families of these countes of Jasper/Smith/Jones/Copiah/Rankin/Simpson in Mississippi.
