    2. Keith J. Trawick
    3. Hi Debbie, The only information that I have about Philip and Mary Paul are from a source outside Copiah County. I am assuming that you probably have the same information. Here it is: As you see, Philip was listed here along with Mary Paul, but they are not cross-referenced as four of his brothers/sisters are, and there is no reference to Copiah County. I have a wealth of information on my great grandfather who founded the Presbyterian Church there in Hazlehurst, but a dearth of information on his father Hugh Right Trawick. I hope that this has been of some help to you. If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I wish you luck in finding the specific information that you were seeking. You may wish to visit my WebSite at http://www.trawick.trawick.net. You are obviously a distant cousin. We appear to be connected through Othneil Traywick who was married to Martha Bethea. Sincerely, Keith -----Original Message----- From: Debbie Waddell [mailto:dpwaddel@bellsouth.net] Sent: Thursday, August 16, 2001 9:28 PM To: MSCOPIAH-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: Updates to the Copiah web site Keith - Are you researching the Trawicks in Copiah County? I'm trying to find more about the family of Philip Trawick and wife, Mary Paul. Philip & Mary were in Copiah Co. by 1836 when my ggg-grandmother Margaret Ann Trawick was born. Margaret married Asa C. Watson in Copiah Co. in 1854. I would especially like to find out if Philip & Mary died in Copiah Co. Thanks! 2. Hi All, Couldn't find Robert Franks, but my listing is probably earlier than the marriage. Couldn't find the Culpit/Porter marriage either. Three Culpit marriages are listed: Eli Culpit to Nancy Erwin on 28 May 1869 Isaac B. Culpit to Martha V. G. King on 30 Jan 1859 John Culpit to Hannah Rembert on 11 May 1867 I couldn't find a Henry Taylor marriage in Copiah county. Simpson county lists one: Henry Taylor to Arispa Johnson on 3 Nov 1898 Sorry, Robert

    1. Lancelott Johnson and Richard H. Sims
    2. Eugenia Parker
    3. Looking for information on a Lancelott Johnson and Richard H. Sims who jointly purchased land together in 1837. Land records state they were residents of Copiah County, MS although they do not appear on either the 1830 or 1840 Copiah Censuses. They do appear on the 1830 Lawrence County Census and only Lancelott appears on the 1840 Lawrence County Census. Lancelott married an Eliza Mixon in Lawrence County January 27, 1826. Does anyone have any information on either of these two men? Thanks Eugenia
