Benie White in Quitman identified his great aunt Lucy as Elizabeth L. White who married first my gf Columbus Stapleton in June 1880 Jasper Co MS and divorced in Clarke Co MS 1884. She tnen married Mr. Scrimpshire. He may be able to assist you. I live in Denver - a long way from Quitman but enjoyed every minute of my visit to Clarke Co a few years ago.
