It might be helpful to list all the members of the household of Samuel Phelps as they appear on the 1870 census: Samuel Phelps, head of household, b. 1830, GA Christianna, wife (nee RED), b. 1825, MS Anna (my ggrandmother), b. 1858, MS David, b. 1859, MS Margret, b. 1862, MS Jefferson, b. 1865, MS ----- One more note: There is a Jefferson Phelps, b. 1810, living next door.
