What is your time period for Martha Carmichael Carmichael? The Archibald Carmichael who died after 1860 (there were two Archibalds in Co 1840s) became executor of one John Carmichael's estate 1852 - I haven't been able to find much on this John Carmichael. He may have been born c1823 AL, and he may be Archibald's son. On tax lists before 1850, on 1850 census and then died.
I have two Archibald Carmichaels and an Archibald Monroe Carmichael. A.Monroe b Nov. 1856/d March 1936 and A. b 1847/d 1861 were both the grandsons of Archibald b 1794 in NC, through his sons Douglas M.T. b 1818 SC and Malcolm McLeod Carmichael b 1830 SC. Don't have the John you are looking for. Hope the above info helps. Laurene PatriciaFinnell@aol.com wrote: > What is your time period for Martha Carmichael Carmichael?
