Gentlemen, This is a response to the recent posting as above. The only Fleming of Clarke County you have listed is "John G. Fleming, Co. D 8th Inf. CSA" and is buried at Andrews Chapel Cemetery. However, my ancestor, John H. Fleming" is buried at Stateline Methodist Cemetery and his headstone indicates that he was in Co. D 8th inf. CSA. I suspect that your information is incorrect and this is really my ancestor, John H. His dates are also listed there as well. Thanks John Fleming
