Also if so, is there a place to write to request a lookup for a certain date of an obit? I am trying to find a 2nd great-grandfather who died in 1869 and his daughter who married in 1870.     3. Good luck in trying to find newspapers from that time frame. But lots of the cemeteries around here have been recorded. Give the name and someone might be able to help you find the individual. til then... JD
