Hi As most of you know my Mother died Oct. 4. She had been writing in a memory book for me the past couple of years. When she died, it was beside her chair. I have not read anything in this until after her death. It is ironic what she wrote about grandparents. "The only grandparent I remember was Grandpa James. He was a very neat man--small in statue & had a mustache." Mother was born in 1915. Her mother, Willie Edna James Risher died in April 1929, shortly after their house burned & her father built a smaller house. He died October 1930. Her grandmother James (Naomi Johnston) died in 1899. Her grandfather James married again & had one child, W. K., that I know about. I suppose I need to check the Alabama census because some of the James children were born in AL. Maybe Mobile & Choctaw counties--any other? Frann
