Bennie's Great grandfather and my great grandfather were Charter members of East Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Clarke Co. Mississippi. When T. D. White died in September, 1906 my Great Grandfather William Beckman had this put in the Church minutes. TRIBUTE OF RESPECT Whereas our Heavenly Father in his divine wisdom has called from our midst our beloved brother T. D. White. And whereas while we have in humble submission to the will of him who doeth all things well in his on good time, never the less we deplore his end and feel that we, in common with the entire community, have suffered the loss of one of our most useful and beloved members. Therefore be it resolved by us in our conference that we tender the bereaved family our deep sympathy in this hour of distress and that a copy of the same be furnished to the family of our departed friend and brother.
