    3. Jean, I am originally from Clarke County and lived near the Moore Cemetery. My aunt died in 1918 and is buried outside the fence at Moore Cemetery. My grandparents were not able to afford to buy a space in the cemetery so they had to bury her outside the fence. The cemetery was located on the Moore place about 5 miles north of Quitman on highway (now 145) 45. For years it was kept up by Dr. Moore who lived in Meridain. Several years ago when I was there it was kinda grown up and you had to know where it was to find it. It is a small cemetery and was basically a family cemetery. I had given Bennie directions to it at one time but dont think he got around to recording the graves. Sorry I cant tell you who all is buried there but if you are interested I can give you more precise directions to it.
