    3. While all this interesting banter on the Grayson, etc., is going on, will throw in my family "wants". John Bolton and wife, Lydia, were on the 1850 Clarke County census, age 63,with children, or grandchildren, Osborn ,21, and Elizabeth,19. Osborn and Elizabeth born in AL., Lydia and John, NC. Osborne Lockett Bolton married Nancy Risher., in Sumpter County,AL.There is also a John Franklin Bolton listed born in Sumpter,Al, 1839, son of Lydia and John Bolton, but place of their birth is listed TN. Living with John and Lydia in 1850 was Celestia Agnes Buffington, who in 1869, married J.W. Coats.Celestia was 4 when living with the Boltons. We think she was grand or gr-grandchild. Then we go to 1870 Clarke County census, and find James Bolton listed as Bolden, with children, married to Martha(Risher). Children were (not in order) Isabella, my gr-grandmother, Marietta, Henrietta ,James, Sallie, Martha and Eliot(female) Bolton. Prior to that on the 1850 Clarke County census, James Bolton and wife,Martha, both 20 , were on the Clarke County census, along with Susan, age one.Are you now totally confused? I am.Since brothers James and Osborne Bolton each married a Risher, you would think it would be easy to place Martha(Margaret)Risher. What I would like to know is, where did James Bolton,SR die, and also where did his wife die? My interest in this group is Isabella Bolton, who in 1880 married Harry Joseph O'Neil, in Clarke County. That was the last we heard of him, till briefly in 1918. We know Isabella died in Waynesboro, in 1943,and is buried in City cemetery, but the archives in Jackson have said they have no record. Isabella was the widow of Jackson Levi Hinson at the time of her death. If I can locate the state of death of the siblings of Isabella, I may be able to find more information on her parents. Her brother James, died in Mobile,Al., and his certificate says his mother was Margaret Risher, and father James Bolton,SR. Whew!! Now you know as much as I do.--Mary
