Bennie I sure will miss your records. My husband's family was or is from Clarke Co Miss and Choctaw Co Al . My husband born at what was called AlaMiss, That is what is on his birth record. Do you know where that was? (:> I am an old lady and hard to tramp thru cemetery's and sure did love the marriage records. I had found bunch of his Gavin, Graham, Roberts etc line. Still looking for guy by name of Pink Smith, That married widow Mary Margaret Raley(Riley) Roberts . Widow of William Henry Roberts that died on way home from Civil War. She married Pink Smith (So I was told) and they had daughter , Victoria Smith born 28 Mar 1867, who married Monroe Kelly. They are buried Camp Spring Cemetery. I do not know if his name was Pink or that was nick name. Cannot find any one that can tell me. I had just started searching your census records , hoping to find them, I think they lived right near state line and could have been in either Choctaw or Clarke Co's, Can not find where they are buried. I have been told Pink had more than one wife. Think he had one before Mary. Do not even know when either died. Sorry to bend your ear but you really had and have a fine site. You have done a real good job on Clarke Co. Now after all this can you tell me where to look now for this information . I am on the Clarke Co mailing list and intend to stay there. Thanks Virginia
