    2. Bennie White
    3. I wish to thank everyone for the wonderful comments made about moi on this list recently. I don't consider myself anything but a genealogy buff just like all of you. I should add that a great big thanks also goes out to the folks who made donations a few months ago to the MS Death Certificate Index buy. We have helped numerous researchers find DC's, but regretfully, not all were listed. Thanks again y'all! Bennie

    1. Saint Bennie
    2. Laurene
    3. Personally, I'd prefer Bennie stay alive and keep on blessing us with his wisdom, energy, and enthusiasm. He has saved me so many weeks of researching by providing the info that is on the Clarke County site, as I live in CT. Some of my ancestors are even in one of the photos - which is the only photo I have of them. So, no Sainthood for you yet Bennie; we want you here! Laurene Researching; JONES, BROADWAY, BLACKWELL, GAY, WHITEHEAD, SIMMONS, MORROW, HOLLIMAN, SPICKARD, and everyone else they married in Clarke County, MS.

    2. Poldi Tonin
    3. I, Poldi Tonin a committee of one, do hearby declare Bennie White to be hereafter and for all time known to all genealogists as Saint Bennie. St. Bennie is performing with grace, humility, and generosity good deeds for all descendants of Clarke Co. MS families now far flung across our great country. I endow you St. Bennie with this title; and much, much later you will be awarded wings and robes by a gatekeeper called Peter. Long life to you. Good health to you. Love to you.

    1. Grantee Index to Deeds
    2. Bennie White
    3. I was digging through some of my old files the other day and ran across a little handwritten compilation I done on legal size yellow pad paper several years ago (may have been in the 1980's). Decided to post to the web. It's an Index to Grantees shown in Deed Books C, D, and part of E. Each entry includes the Grantee/Grantor name, book/page(s), and date of instrument. Posted here: http://www.netpathway.com/~bennie/deedindx.htm Hope this helps a little. Bennie
