My Gr,Gr. Grandfather is Edward Shelton, married to Zelpha Magness-Glenn,Shelton.Edward was born 1805,VA. and died in Carroll Co.in 1871 Edward and his brother Samuel were in Carroll Co.,before 1850. They left Williamson Co.,TN. to come to Mississippi. I'm going to research but I believe some of Samuels Children went to AR. as well. I have a copy of Drury Edward's marriage license and he was in Carroll Co. as early as 1836 because of aquiring land. There are other names that show up that I don't know how to place. Does this help?
