Samuel and Aryana "Armstrong" Byrd Shelton were my great great grandparents, through their daughter Martha Caroline/Carolina Shelton. The latter married Thomas Franklin Pegram, and their daughter Addie Corine Pegram was my paternal grandmother. She married Vollie Lee Champion. I have their marriage record, dated 1844, but I didn't know when Samuel actually had moved to MS from VA. Who is Edward Shelton? I would love to exchange information!
