Norwood Sr., 86, of McCarley, who died of heart failure Monday, March 17, 2003, at his home, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Roberts & Sons Mortuary in Winona. He is survived by his wife, Charles P. Norwood of McCarley; three sons, Percy O. Norwood Jr. of Clifton, Va., Willie Norwood of Southfield, Mich., and James Norwood of Itta Bena; two daughters, Alfreedia Flowers of Carrollton and Laura Norwood Davis of McCarley; a brother, John "Buddy" Norwood of Detroit; two sisters, Annie Lee Bibbs and Emma Harrison, both of Chicago; two adopted daughters, Willie Mae Smith of Carrollton and Loraine Hollins of Detroit; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The Rev. Percy Dyson will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens near Carrollton.
