The Greenwood Commonwealth Greenwood, MS Apr 2, 2003 Audrey Ola Tackett Services for Audrey Ola Tackett, 83, of Carrollton, who died of heart failure Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at her home, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Mrs. Tackett was a homemaker. A native of Choctaw County, she lived in the Greenwood area most of her life. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Sylvester Tackett. She is survived by three daughters, Minnie Goss of Teoc, and Frances Barrentine and Bonnie Galey, both of Greenwood; six sons, George Tackett of Greenville, William Tackett, Charles Tackett, Lewis Tackett and Dale Tackett, all of Greenwood, and Wayne Tackett of Hattiesburg; one sister, Cleo Hardin of Union; 21 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. The Rev. J.C. Hubbard will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Centerville Cemetery in Carroll County. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be Lewis Snow, Richard Hurst, Kenny Bobo and Dr. Kenneth Hines. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 this evening and from noon until the time of the services Thursday at the funeral home.
