Smith b. abt 1785 in NC and lived in Carroll County, MS in 1850 (maybe earlier). Thomas M. Smith may have been a justice of the peace. He was name guardian of Daniel Devine/Divine. I am wondering how he fits with other families that have ties to NC and TN than moved to Carroll County, MS. Thanks
