King. James & Josephine had 3 children: William born 1874-1879, Barton Leonidus 1877-1880, & a daughter Jesse born aft 1880. In 1880 they lived at Friar's Point Coahoma Co.,MS on the Mississippi River, by 1900 James Pritchard had died & Josephine had moved back to Vaiden, Carroll Co.,MS to live near her half-sister Tempe Taylor Bryant. Barton Leonidus Pritchard registered for the WWI draft in Carroll Co & gave his bd as 4/10/1877, which is consistent w/ the 1900 census. However in the 1880 census only son William is listed as 1 year old. I feel that someone else must have given the incorrect info for this family in 1880 & in 1900 Josephine King Pritchard gave the correct info herself. Would like to know what became of this family, also how Josephine King of Carroll Co.,MS met & married James Pritchard of Coahoma Co.,MS & gave his father's place of birth as Scotland & mother as Ireland.
