Yes, Susan Cain (mother of Monroe McClurg) was my gr-gr-gr-grandfather, Joseph Cain's, sister. Joseph was the son of Patrick Cain, Jr. Joseph's son, William Walter (Watt) Cain married Ida B. Williams' (wife of Monroe McClurg) sister, Maud A. Williams. So it looks like Monroe and Watt (who were first cousins) married the Williams sisters, Ida and Maud.
