He died in February 1961 and was married to Wilna Bruce. They lived in Sidon, Mississippi. I don't know much about my grandfather because I was an infant when he died. My father, John Harry Stigler who was born & raised in Mississippi (I believe in Leflore County) died this past December and his mother, Wilna Bruce, died last month so I can't verify with them. My mother may know and if she doesn't my dad still had 4 other siblings.

My grandmother, Jeanette Smith Butt, b.1890, d.1973, had a brother I always knew by "Uncle Buddy", who lived with his spinster sisters Rivers and Ruth on a horse farm halfway between Vaiden and Winona until his death. My father, Cyrus Butt III (b.1921, d.1987) had a cousin by the name of Rufus Smith, who may still be alive. Last I knew of him he lived in Memphis, TN. I have access to family records through my father's sister in Jackson if you think you'd like to pursue it.

I didn't have any of that. I'm afraid I know little about Fullilove except to say that I've seen the name many times looking in records from Carroll, Montgomery, and Attala Counties. There are also many in the Delta, as evidenced by the Social Security Death Index entries. My primary emphasis is the Pabst or Papps family. I am not related to the Fullilove line. The Pabst family came from Prussia to NE Louisiana in the mid 1840's. Since Minnie probably died young, I would suspect little information on that family was handed down. I would like to help some descendant of Minnie's who may be wondering more about her forebears.

J.” FULLILOVE and Minnie PAPPS of Carroll County, MS. They married 22 Dec 1894 in Carroll County. Minnie PAPPS or PABST was the daughter of John D. PABST and Henrietta DOSTER. Minnie probably died young as W. J. married Mrs. Lula Terry in 1915. Minnie was my grandmother’s cousin. I have much Pabst/Papps data to share. Children of Minnie and W. J. Fullilove were: Erby Fullilove, b. 1897, d. 1986, Greenville, Washington Co., MS. He lived at Tutwiler before moving to Greenville. His obituary lists three daughters and five sons as survivors. Johnnie Fullilove, b. 1900, d. bef 1910 census Clyde Fullilove, b. abt 1902 Charles Fullilove, b. abt 1905 Mattie Fullilove, b. abt 1906, d. 1998, last residence Winona, MS. She is listed as Mattie HATHCOCK in her sibling’s obituaries. Blanche Fullilove, b. abt 1909. Lucille Fullilove, b. abt 1911, d. 1990, bur. Monaghan Family Cemetery. Her last residence was Tylertown, Walthall Co., MS. She married Robert E. Gant, also a Carroll Co. native. Her obituary lists 1 son, 5 daughters, 18 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren. William Printess Fullilove, b. abt 1912, d. 1982. Last residence was Lambert, Quitman Co., MS. Survivors included his wife, Edna Self Fullilove and three daughters.

My father,s name is Wesley. And my ggrandfather was Elias. Do any of these names sound familiar to you. My Arthur's second wife, my grandmother, was Rhelda. But he married another woman after her death and my family is sort of confused on her name. I can tell you my Arthur died 3/66. If these names or the date of his death are the same as what you have please let me know. It would be really nice to find some more of our family.
