I have Henry TURNER and wife Elizabeth STONE in my family files. Besides Samuel TURNER, son of Henry and Elizabeth TURNER, they had a son George Washington TURNER b 1818 AL, d 1888 Leake Co, MS. George Washington TURNER married Elizabeth BYERS 1838 Jefferson Co, AL. Elizabeth was sister of Rebecca BYERS who married Samuel TURNER. George Washington TURNER and wife Elizabeth BYERS had a son Samuel Marshman TURNER who married Mary Louellen WEEMS, who was the daughter of James WEEMS and Edna SKINNER. James WEEMS was brother of my ancestor William WEEMS. Also another connection. George Washington TURNER and wife Elizabeth BYERS had a daughter Sarah Ellen TURNER who married Gustavus Alphonse Beauregard GEORGE, whose daughter Willie F. GEORGE married James Marion WEEMS, son of William Marion WEEMS and Mary Wilcher BINNS, son of James WEEMS and Edna SKINNER. Gustavus GEORGE had a sister Susan Eleanor GEORGE who married David Snodgrass MCDONALD, Sr. who was his 2nd wife. They had a daughter Rosannah Eleanor MCDONALD who married Joseph James WEEMS, another son of James WEEMS and Edna SKINNER. Two other sons of David Snodgrass MCDONALD, SR and 2nd wife Susan Eleanor GEORGE were James William MCDONALD who married Alice GEORGE and John Edward MCDONALD who married Evie GEORGE. Alice and Evie GEORGE were daughters of Gustavus GEORGE and Sarah Ellen TURNER. Elizabeth and Rebecca BYERS were daughters of Joseph Judson BYERS and Mary Esther KUYKENDELL Joseph Judson BYERS and Henry TURNER were listed 1850 Jefferson Co, AL census. Also Samuel and brother George Washington TURNER were listed 1850 Jefferson Co, AL census TURNERS later moved to Attala Co, MS. Joseph Judson BYERS remained in Jefferson Co, AL where he died 1873. Rebecca Byers is my 2nd great grand mother, mother of Leona Belle Turner my great grandmother, I did not know who Rececca Byers parents were, Do you know what cemetery they are buried in? My Leona Belle TUrner was married to Robert n. Allen (1861-1950) by any chance to you know anything about Robert N. Allen he is buried at Sallis Cemetery. I have no information on Robert I know he was a barber, no information on who his parents were. Samuel Turner 1824-1892 and William Henry Turner were brothers , Samuel Turner is on my great grandmother Leona Belle Turner side of the family, and William Henry Turner is on my Grandfathers (Luther Edward Turner) side of the family "this is hard to explain" I am a direct descent from William Henry Turner & Samuel Turner. Everyone has been very helpful with so much information, guess I will be up all night studying.
