I have a bit of information on Henry Turner's family. This Henry was born in VA between 1724 and 1730 and died in SC on or about Jan 30, 1812. This Henry Turner married Sarah Murphy, the daughter of Darby and Elizabeth Murphy. Some of his descendants migrated to Attala County as my gg grandmother, Lucinda "Cindy" Turner Cummins. I have a "Turner Family Cemetery" project. I have started with my grand parents up to my 5th grdparents grouped by families & trying to locate where all the Turner's are buried. We have Turners in our Attala family - Franklin Ephraim Turner, who married Martha Susan Lucas. I don't know Franklin's parents. Could we be related? Franklin was born in Amite Co., MS, but died in Attala. His son, Jackson E. Turner, married my great aunt Lula Cornelia Bridges. Jackson and his family moved on to Louisiana, where he died in 1942.
