Yes I would very much like to have a copy of the marriage license. I have never actually seen a factual marriage license from that era. Individuals are offering the new replica licenses currently issued by the county clerk, but there are lots of them around. Sounds like you have a copy of the real thing. If you would like to include information for the Burney's, please do so. Everette, While you're here...... :-) Different subject. I recently received a couple of old photos that possibly depict some BURCHFIED and/or LOWERY family members. It is quite certain the photos were made in Attala County, possibly in the late 1800's. I would like to circulate it to see if anyone recognizes any of the people in the photos or the houses behind them. Is it appropriate to attach jpg's to these emails and will they go through? Is it better to upload the photos to some web site and provide a link in the email. I appreciate the work you do in keeping the group running, and appreciate the help I have received from others in this group in the past. I also enjoy reading the emails and stories from others, even if they do not directly relate to my family line. You can not send attachments through the mail list, so it would be necessary to post them to a site and then send a message to the list with the link. I could do that for you. Also, the ancestry message boards do accept attachments and you could post them there.
