"French Camp: A History of the Academy" In August, 1949, E. V. Brown Patterson, a graduate student at Mississippi State College published a thesis in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Degree of Master of Science in the Department of History. The thesis was titled "FRENCH CAMP: A HISTORY OF THE ACADEMY". This thesis has been posted to the Attala County MSGenWeb web site in its entirety.
