To the Attala County Mail List Subscribers; The following message was received from a non-subscriber that visited the Attala MSGenWeb web site and was wondering if any progress has been made with respect to protecting the county's records. It has been almost a year since the County Supervisors committed funds for new file cabinets to protect the records stored in the County Court House attic. I have been remiss in not following up to ensure that the records are now safe from further deterioration. Does anyone have information as to the status of the records in question?
