This letter has been posted to the 'Attala Historical Society' web site, which was created and is maintained by Everette Carr. The society is in need of your financial support. Please read the letter and give consideration to supporting the Attala Historical Society with a generous contribution. The letter can be accessed by going to the Attala Historical Society web site and clicking on 'ENTER'. http://www.rootsweb.com/~msahs/ There is a link at the bottom of the letter that will allow you to print out a form to be used to make a contribution to the society. If you choose to send a contribution to the society, I would appreciate your using the form on the web site as the society apparently does not feel that the Attala Historical Society web site is beneficial to the society and its efforts to promote and preserve the History and Heritage of Attala County. If you believe otherwise, a favorable note to the society, even if you choose not to donate, would go a long way toward convincing the officers and directors of the society that support for the web site is not only beneficial but essential.
