    3. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding cleaning out the inscription on a smooth gray (part is rough hewn and part is smooth) marble stone which is about 70 years old? The cemetery/tombstone people told me to use a toothbrush and little Clorox but I have not tried that yet. Need something less damaging. (One can hardly make out the inscription because it is now so near the color of the rest of the monument). Thanks very much. Lucy [email protected] (I know there were many suggestions at one time but because of illness and this and that, I had to delete all the messages, etc. and re-arrange genealogy information in order to download my mail). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marion Webb" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, May 20, 2005 2:19 PM Subject: Re: [MSATTALA] Tombstone Damage > > Brushing the inscribed area with corn starch highlights the lettering also.
