When the treaty was signed different areas of Mississippi were assigned to different land offices to sale I am not sure this will be of any help but " land subject for sale at Mount Salus" on a land record means that the land was located in west-central Mississippi, the Jackson land office was in Hinds Co. at Mt. Salus. I can not find a note about the Columbus Land Office. Perhaps someone will know what area of land they sold.
