Sam, I could not find your Jacob and Catherine Pickle in the cemetery book, but did find your Jacob Lewis and many others by that name in the County Line Baptist Church cemetery in Leake County/Attala County. His census was on page 175 #102. Go to page 177 and you will find where those numbers pick up again. PICKLE is one of muy family names, as my grandmother was a Pickle. > I have been doing this for over 40 years and have found that the census takers sometimes leave out a few families and they put them on another page. Its well worth a visit.
Martha, I believe the Jacob Lewis Pickle in County Line Cemetery is the son of Jacob Lewis Pickle and May Mary Black. At least the dates match for the son. I still have not seen a listing for Jacob and Catherine or for Jacob Lewis 1820-1887 and May Mary 1827-187?. I would love to have death information on these two couples in my direct line.
