Just a quick note to alert you to the fact that the Attala County, MSGenWeb site has a new banner Heading on the main page of the web site. So, if it doesn't look familiar, don't worry, it is in fact the Attalla County web site. The new banner heading is a drawing by a former Kosciusko resident, Jack Olsen which was done in 1998. The drawing, as indicated on the web site, depicts the Attalla County Courthouse as it appeared in 1897. It is a fantastic drawing and stands as a memorial to Jack Olsen's memory. I do not have permission to use this drawing. Repeated attempts to contact the Olsen family to request permission to use the image have failed. But, it is such a realistic depiction of the courthouse, such a fantastic image that it would be a shame not to utilize it as an introduction to the Attala County genealogy site.
