The reference to 1680 people is likely the total count for the individuals enumerated in a particular Enumeration District. However, I was unable to locate Susan Kellum in the 1880 census. Perhaps if you could provide the Attala County researchers with the Enumeration District, Page number and Household number where you found Susan, maybe someone could be of assistance.
