I've had some issues with the LDS transcription myself in other states and I thought I'd jump in. Wanda Lentz got the answer right. On the actual census, each family group has a clearly marked dwelling and family number, thereby separating them from the Kellun household. The inclusion of 1680 people in the Kellun household appears to be a coding error on the part of LDS. I have found two instances where, in Georgia, a militia district was named incorrectly in the LDS transcription. The people were there, but they did not appear to be in the correct geographic area. The lesson here is to use LDS 1800 census as a guide, but not the final answer. They seem to be in family groups. Can anyone explain this to me? Barbara ==== MSATTALA Mailing List ==== Have you visited the American Local History Network, Attala County web site yet?
