    3. Hi Folks! Can you let me know more about the 30th MS and how many other soldiers enlisted in Center, MS? Did William M. Cummins live in Center? As most of you know, my immediate family originally settled in Center in the mid-1800's... Also, I really feel sad when I hear about one of our "own" who is buried so far away from "home"--as is my gggrandfather, Jonathan Monroe Barnett--although he died in a measles epidemic at a camp in West Virginia and not in one of those horrid prison camps that I have been researching. Four years ago, I had a Confederate memorial headstone installed at Center cemetery for my gggrandfather--just so our family could especially remember him... And, also, so that his name would be included with the many other of our family members who are buried in Center Cemetery. Incidently, the church at Center is known as Peeler Memorial Baptist Church... ----- Original Message ----- From: "cumyns4211" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, August 14, 2004 2:22 PM Subject: [MSATTALA] A MS CSA Soldier's Chronology > Battle Above the Clouds - Lookout Mountain, TN > November 23, 24 and 25, 1863 > ~ > Chronology > > of > > Private William M.
