Thank you for emailing me. I was told that the bible of Dr. Geoge W. Gallaway contained a record of the death date (3-16-1846) of Aca Moore and that the bible was in the possession of Mrs. Gladys Reynolds. Aca Moore is the mother of Martha Jane Moore who was the lst wife of Dr. Gallaway. Martha Jane was also a sister to my 2nd great grandfather William Warren Moore whose daughter married into my Millwood line. I would appreciate any assistance or suggestions you could offer me in obtaining a copy of the bible entry on Aca Moore's death. Additionally, if you are aware of any decendants from the Gallaway/Moore marriage who are researching the Gallaway and Moore lines, please let me know. I am having an extremely difficult time in locating this Moore family. I know that James Moore, husband to Aca Moore, died in Madison Co, Al about 1838 and his entire family went to Noxubee Co, Ms and were in Attala Co by 1841. But they are most elusive.
