Charles- Years ago I ordered a copy via my local library who got it for me for a month. I was able to look it over and determine if it was worth the purchase. If you don't necessarily want to own the book then interlibrary loan could be the answer for you. As I think back about the copy that I bought, I believe that I checked on Amazon.com and bought a used copy that was available at the time. Good luck. Hi David Glad to hear from you ! So sorry , it must have been a typo on my part. I meant to type in page 119 not 199 for the picture. It shows a small group of about 25 students and a couple of teachers on the front porch of what I assume to be the schoolhouse. I am interested in the name of the young girl standing in the back row , 7th from the left with long dark hair. She looks like she could be my grandmother who was about 14-15 yrs old at the time. I was wondering if anyone on the list might know the names of those in this picture. A longshot to be sure, but I'm trying. BTW , I am wanting to get in touch with some of the descendants of her brother who lived in Arkansas. Are there any descendants of Samuel M. FRAZIER still around that I might be able to contact ?
