When "Mark Rayborn and Rhoda Watts Rayborn: Their Antecedents and Descendants" was originally published, a limited number of copies were printed. Many of those copies were added to genealogy library collections but alas most of them have 'disappeared' through the years. A 414 page 'digital reprint' is now availabe in a format that is fully searchable. Original photographs have been located and enhanced and an additional family reunion photograph was added, along with a list of attendees. Included in the book are a history of the origin of the Rayborn name; Joseph, who died in 1793 in Edgefield County, SC, and his Mississippi children; Mark and Rhoda Watts Rayborn of Covington County, MS; and sections on the Watts, Wiggins, Denmark, Rester, Hatten, and Mingersdorff families. Many parts of the book are in semi-narrative, biographical form and are spiced wherever possible with family anecedotes and not-so-tall tales.
