There is no mention of a cemetery by that name, nor of any JAMES MILLER, in the 1993 publication by Uvvon Serena Abbess Haymon entitled AMITE CO. MS CEMETERIES. However, I have access to an abstract of the church record book, in which a JAMES MILLER was received as a member by experience and baptized in December 1826. Members of the church, as reported in April conference 1842, included a JAMES MILLER, SR. Later in that record is the death date of JAMES MILLER, SR. as being 27 December 1827. I have more information about that church and its members, should you wish, since its first pastor, HOWELL WALL, was my 4th great-grandfather. In the meantime, you might also wish to contact the Amite County Historical and Genealogical Society (www.achgs.org). Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
