Susan Elizabeth Chisholm married 1. William Zumbro, 2. Monroe Levi Laird; they had a son, William Athalone Laird, and daughter Gelona May (Loni or Lonie) who married Edward (Eddie) Sanders. Gelona is our great grandmother. We would like to know IF any descendants of this Chisholm line, from Amite, MS., has records, letters, stories, or anything relating to Native American heritage - and what that might be.
