Freeman listed in the 1880 census as "widowed" and living with her mother. There is a Mary Ann Freeman listed as marrying Andrew J. McManus on 13 Jul 1876. Mary J. McManus was born in 1880. I wonder if Nicey could = mary somehow? I know, a stretch... Nicey could be a nickname for Eunice, but I haven't found any of those, either! Just thinking out loud!
