GERALD was born on 2 July 1818 in Amite County MS and died on 9 August 1858. His parents were SAMUEL GERALD and ELIZABETH R. NORMAND. The wife of Trezvant was SARAH A. HAYNES (ca. 1825 in Amite County - aft 1849); they married on 10 November 1842 in Wilkinson County MS. Trezvant and Sarah had four known children, to wit: SAMUEL A. GERALD (b. ca. 1845), FRANCES S. GERALD (b. ca. 1846), MEDORA GERALD (b. ca. 1849), and VILERIA GERALD (b. ca. 1849). Trezcant had an older sister, AMANDA MALVINA F. GERALD (1815 - 22 July 1838), who married BYTHELL HAYNES (May 1808 - 1884) on 1 November 1831 in Woodville, Wilkinson County MS, and with whom had four known children.
